Sun Pharma is hiring for the position of Lead Investigator with 10-12 years of experience to join their office in Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
Forensic Investigations:
- Lead end-to-end investigations into fraud, misconduct, and ethical violations across global business units, ensuring confidentiality and impartiality throughout the process.
Data Analysis & Digital Forensics:
- Utilize forensic tools (e.g., Intella Pro, Falcon NEO2) to conduct fraud analytics, background checks, and evidence extraction. Analyze databases, digital records, and transactional data to identify irregularities.
Interviewing & Reporting:
- Conduct interviews with suspects and witnesses with professionalism and discretion. Prepare detailed investigation reports and executive-level summaries, highlighting findings, root causes, and actionable recommendations.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Work closely with Legal, HR, Business Unit Heads, and Audit Committees to support disciplinary action and law enforcement proceedings. Present key insights and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
Team Leadership & Oversight:
- Supervise a team of forensic professionals and manage co-sourced engagements with external consultants. Coach team members and drive adoption of investigative best practices.
Continuous Improvement:
- Enhance investigative methodologies, identify control gaps, and recommend improvements to fraud prevention and internal control frameworks. Undertake special assignments from the Head – Global Internal Audit.
Eligibility
Education:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) – mandatory
- Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce – required
- Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) – preferred
Experience:
- 10–12 years of relevant post-qualification experience in forensic investigations and fraud risk management
- Minimum 4–5 years with a Big 4 consulting firm
- 2–3 years in a leadership or managerial role
- Industry experience in pharmaceuticals or manufacturing preferred
- Prior experience handling global investigations and cross-border compliance issues is highly desirable
