Details of the Job/Internship
Tesco Bengaluru is hiring a Lead – Legal Counsel (Litigation) with 5+ years of experience to join their office in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
Role and Responsibilities
- Support mass action litigation by preparing written updates and summaries.
- Conduct horizon scanning, including press and social media monitoring.
- Maintain and update litigation and document preservation trackers.
- Manage document hold notices and respond to internal queries.
- Review internal documents and prepare factual summaries.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external solicitors.
- Support wider litigation matters, including document gathering and preservation notices.
- Investigate and resolve low-value payment demands under supervision.
- Contribute to legal templates, process maps, and best-practice guides.
Eligibility
- Minimum 5+ years of experience, preferably with a leading law firm or legal outsourcing firm.
- Strong project management and litigation support experience in a multinational organisation or LPO.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively under pressure.
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
