Details of the Job/Internship
Lowe’s India is hiring a Lead Legal – Employment Counsel with 6–8 years of experience to join their office in Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
- Advise HR and internal stakeholders on hiring, separations, employee relations, policies, and compensation.
- Draft and review employment contracts, HR policies, and related documentation.
- Handle labor compliances and respond to labor/regulatory authority notices.
- Provide counsel on employee investigations and ER matters.
- Monitor third-party vendor labor audits and suggest risk mitigation strategies.
- Conduct legal training for HR and business teams.
- Coordinate with global counsel for policy alignment.
- Manage external counsel for employment litigation and inspections.
- Monitor changes in employment law and advise on implications.
Eligibility
- LLB or LLM graduate.
- 6–8 years of post-qualification experience as an employment. counsel/advisor in a law firm or multinational company legal department.
