Details of the Job/Internship

ib vogt GmbH is hiring a Lead Legal (Land and Contracts) with 10–15 years of experience to join their Gurugram office. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Review and approve Sale/Lease Deeds, POAs, ATS/ATL, and all land acquisition documentation.
• Stay updated on evolving land, property, and local laws including the Land Revenue Act, Stamp and Registration Act, and Forest Conservation Act.
• Manage legal issues related to land conversion, mutation, amalgamation, stamp duty, registration, and title review.
• Draft MoUs, LoIs, sale agreements, lease deeds, sub-lease deeds, POAs, and related documents.
• Support the land team in securing authorisations from relevant authorities.
• Maintain and manage complete documentation including TSRs and chain of title documents.
• Coordinate with revenue authorities such as sub-registrars, gram panchayats, and patwaris.
• Guide internal teams on legal disputes related to land titles.
• Provide regular MIS updates on land legal matters and support additional tasks assigned by management.

Eligibility

• LL.B or LL.M with strong expertise in property laws and local legislation.
• 10–15 years of relevant experience.
• In-depth knowledge of land revenue laws, stamp and registration laws, forest conservation laws, and title search reports.
• Ability to read and interpret documents in Hindi and English.
