Details of the Job/Internship
Bajaj Electricals Limited is looking for a candidate for the position of Lead - Litigation to join them at their office in Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Assessing dispute threats and opportunities; planning appropriate tactics, and strategies;
- Legal Research on various Acts and statues.
- In house drafting of legal documents and pleadings like petitions, plaints, written statements etc. in consultation with external counsels & by providing all relevant documents / facts etc tour counsel
- Drafting / reviewing pleadings and other documents.
- Tracking and managing ongoing litigations. Help implement software systems / trackers for litigation updates.
- Drafting notices, replies or other legal documents.
- Preparing notes for the management.
- Effectively managing external counsels.
- Reduce litigation costs for the Company.
- Advising, Drafting and negotiating various types of contracts, agreements such as collaboration and JV agreements, NDA, MOU, Deeds, guarantees and indemnities, Master IT agreements, IPR assignments, Lease, Leave and license, mortgage, POA, settlements deeds etc.
- Negotiation of all types of contracts and closure on TAT
- Assist in developing standard Templates for commercial contracts/ agreements that can be conveniently used by different stakeholders
- Assist in providing proactive and innovative legal advice on complex, and in some cases sensitive, contract issues tmitigate potential legal risks tthe business.
