Details of the Job/Internship
KKR is hiring a Legal - Product Counsel - Manager with 7+ years of experience to join their office in Gurugram.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide legal support for the distribution of KKR fund interests.
- Draft, review, and negotiate distribution and similar agreements.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external counsel.
- Oversee compliance aspects of such agreements.
- Maintain legal templates, playbooks, and trackers.
- Serve as a central legal point of contact for internal and external parties.
- Manage ad hoc legal projects related to fund operations.
Eligibility
- LL.B. degree in Law.
- 7+ years of experience in asset management, preferably at a major law firm or investment firm.
- Knowledge of AML/KYC regulations, U.S. securities laws, and compliance matters for SEC-registered investment advisers is a plus.
