Details of the Job/Internship

PD Consulting is hiring a Legal & Business Operations Officer with 3–7 years of experience to work part-time (20–25 hours per week) in a remote capacity.

Role and Responsibilities

• Legal:
  • Draft and review contracts, NDAs, MoUs, equity and advisor agreements.
  • Advise on compliance for company formation, ROC filings, taxation, and cap tables.
  • Manage IP documentation including patents, licensing, and royalty terms.
  • Develop legal playbooks and standardised checklists for scalable systems.
  • Coordinate with external legal firms when specialised counsel is required.
• Operations:
  • Implement internal systems for task tracking, reporting, and workflows.
  • Define and monitor OKRs and KPIs across business functions.
  • Ensure alignment among finance, tech, and marketing teams.
  • Support investor documentation including data rooms and governance materials.

Eligibility

• 3–7 years of experience in startup legal, compliance, or operations.
• Comfortable with managing multiple ventures and adapting to varied contexts.
• Highly independent, organised, and process-oriented.
• Understanding of early-stage equity structures, cap tables, and associated risks.
• Motivated by long-term equity and impact over short-term compensation.
