Details of the Job/Internship

LIXIL India Pvt. Ltd. is hiring a Legal & Commercial Counsel with 8+ years of post-qualification experience to join its Gurugram office. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and commercial agreements.
• Collaborate with business, marketing, HR, tax, and finance teams for legal inputs.
• Liaise with global COE teams on IP, data privacy, and related issues.
• Manage litigations and coordinate with external counsels.
• Use legal technology tools such as CLM and Compliance Management Systems.
• Support projects related to audits, regulatory responses, and real estate expansion.
• Develop internal templates, playbooks, and compliance policies.
• Monitor regulatory changes and assess their business impact.
• Conduct training sessions on legal and compliance matters.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Law from a reputed institution (Master’s in Law or CS preferred).
• Minimum 8 years PQE with experience in MNCs or law firms.
• Strong transactional and advisory experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
