Details of the Job/Internship
Systango Technologies Limited is hiring a Legal & Commercial Officer to support its legal, commercial, and customer-facing operations at its Indore office. The role involves drafting and negotiating contracts, coordinating with customers and internal teams, supporting compliance and corporate governance, and working closely with senior leadership and billing teams on legal and commercial matters.
Role and Responsibilities
- Drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and finalising customer contracts, statements of work, vendor agreements, master service agreements, MoUs, NDAs, and partnership agreements.
- Identifying legal risks and providing practical, business-aligned solutions.
- Ensuring contracts comply with internal policies, compliance standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintaining documentation and version control of legal agreements.
- Acting as the point of contact for customers on legal and commercial terms.
- Leading or supporting customer negotiations on contractual and commercial matters.
- Coordinating with customer legal, procurement, and finance teams for smooth contract execution.
- Supporting corporate governance and statutory compliance requirements.
- Liaising with external legal counsel when required.
- Coordinating with billing and finance teams to ensure accurate invoicing as per contractual terms.
- Resolving contract-related billing issues and ambiguities.
- Working closely with senior leadership and supporting internal teams on contract processes and compliance.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law (LLB / LLM) from a recognised institution.
- Prior experience in the IT, technology, or software services industry is preferred.
- Proven experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial and corporate contracts.
- Strong understanding of contract law, corporate law, and business compliance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to interact confidently with customers, vendors, and senior leadership.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced environment.
