AlgoKart is hiring a highly motivated and detail-oriented Legal & Compliance Intern to join its fast-paced team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of SEBI regulations and an interest in the intersection of finance, technology, and law. This role provides hands-on experience in a growing industry, working directly with legal and product teams.
Role and Responsibilities
- Assist in researching, analysing, and staying updated on SEBI regulations, circulars, and guidelines related to algotrading, investment advisory, research analysis, and marketplace operations.
- Support the development and implementation of compliance policies and procedures to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to review new features and services for regulatory compliance, particularly user-facing information and trading logic.
- Prepare and organise compliance-related documentation, including internal memos, reports, and communication with regulatory bodies.
- Participate in internal audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential compliance risks.
- Contribute to the creation of educational materials for users on SEBI regulations and responsible trading practices.
Eligibility
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Law, Finance, Business, or a related field.
