Details of the Job/Internship

Deloitte India is hiring a Legal & Compliance Intern for a 6-month duration to join their Audit & Assurance team in Mumbai. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Assist in regulatory research to identify applicable Indian laws and specific compliance requirements for clients.
• Support the preparation of compliance manuals and documentation for various business operations.
• Track and summarize global legislative updates across different jurisdictions and law areas.
• Help create and maintain compliance obligation registers to monitor regulatory risks.
• Support the internal team in audit reviews and compliance assessments for client engagements.
• Summarize legal research findings and assist in the preparation of client deliverables and presentations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand regulatory impacts on various business processes.
• Participate in client coordination and internal team communications under the guidance of senior professionals.

Eligibility

• Currently pursuing or completed an LLB degree (Mandatory); LLM is also welcome.
• Strong interest in legal research, compliance, and regulatory advisory.
• Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
• Ability to commit to a 6-month internship duration in Mumbai.
• Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to learning professional standards.
