Details of the Job/Internship
Nextyn is hiring a Legal & Compliance Intern with experience of a current law student or recent graduate to join their office in Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Review legal documents, agreements, and internal policies for accuracy and completeness.
- Conduct systematic compliance checks to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and internal guidelines.
- Analyze transcripts, communication data, and product content for legal or compliance flags.
- Support the drafting and updating of legal templates, disclaimers, terms & conditions, and SOPs.
- Research various regulatory frameworks, including data privacy guidelines and industry legal standards.
- Maintain organized documentation and ensure strict version control for legal records.
- Coordinate with Product and HR teams to facilitate timely legal reviews.
- Provide administrative support to the Legal & Compliance department.
Eligibility
- Currently pursuing or recently completed LLB / BLS LLB / BA LLB or equivalent.
- Strong command over English with excellent comprehension and writing skills.
- High attention to detail with the ability to identify potential risk elements in documentation.
- Basic understanding of contracts, confidentiality, and data privacy norms.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality while handling sensitive communication data.
- Proficiency in digital tools, transcription platforms, and document management systems.
