Tensorfox is hiring a Legal & Compliance Lead (Qualified Lawyer) with 4–7 years of experience to join their office in Bangalore.
Role and Responsibilities
- Serve as the firm’s primary legal counsel.
- Handle all legal, compliance, and regulatory matters across geographies.
- Draft and negotiate contracts including employment, vendor, data, and exchange agreements.
- Define and maintain the company’s legal structure and governance.
- Develop and implement scalable compliance procedures.
- Coordinate with external counsel while remaining the key decision-maker.
- Advise on legal risks and mitigation strategies.
Eligibility
- Qualified and licensed lawyer in a recognized jurisdiction (India, UK, US, Singapore).
- 4–7 years of post-qualification experience in corporate, fintech, or fund environments.
- Experience in handling multi-jurisdictional compliance.
- Strong skills in contract drafting and regulatory advisory.
- Prior experience as the sole legal counsel in a startup is preferred.
- Company Secretary certification is a plus.
