Details of the Job/Internship

Techary is hiring a Legal & Contracts Specialist with experience of 2–4 years to join their office in London and build the legal function while working closely with the executive team.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and redline commercial agreements including NDAs, MSAs, SoWs, reseller agreements, supplier contracts, and partner programme agreements.
• Own the full contract lifecycle including repository management, obligation tracking, renewals, and expiry monitoring.
• Support onboarding of new technology vendors and channel partners by negotiating and executing agreements.
• Manage external counsel relationships, including coordination and spend control.
• Lead data protection and privacy compliance, including GDPR, DPAs, and subject access requests.
• Draft and maintain standard contract templates and legal playbooks.
• Act as the first point of contact for internal legal queries across departments.
• Maintain a legal risk register and dispute tracker for executive review.
• Support corporate governance activities including board resolutions and Companies House filings.

Eligibility

• Law degree (LLB) or equivalent legal qualification (LPC, CILEX, or paralegal diploma).
• 2–4 years of experience in a paralegal or legal coordinator role within a commercial environment.
• Strong knowledge of commercial contracts and ability to draft, review, and redline independently.
• Solid understanding of GDPR and UK data protection laws.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
