Details of the Job/Internship
SVS Aqua Technologies LLP is hiring a Legal & Compliance Associate to provide comprehensive legal and administrative support, with a focus on documentation, research, compliance assistance, and coordination with external legal advisors.
Role and Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing legal defenses, counterclaims, and documentation for civil, arbitration, criminal, and IP matters.
- Conduct legal research and identify relevant case laws, circulars, and statutory provisions.
- Draft and review contracts, NDAs, internal policies, and operational documents.
- Coordinate with appointed legal counsel and external law firms.
- Maintain structured legal records and documentation for ongoing cases.
- Provide compliance and documentation support to internal departments.
- Draft communications and agreements in English and Marathi.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB or equivalent).
- Proficient in civil, arbitration, criminal, and intellectual property laws.
- Excellent drafting skills in both English and Marathi.
- Strong research capabilities on case laws and statutory guidelines.
- Experience in contract vetting, drafting, and documentation procedures.
- Highly organized with attention to detail and confidentiality.
