Details of the Job/Internship
Technotask Business Solutions Pvt Ltd is hiring a Legal Advisor with a minimum of 1 year of experience in a legal advisory role, preferably within the BPO or ITES industry, to join their office in Bhopal.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide legal support on day-to-day operations related to BPO contracts, client agreements, and vendor relationships.
- Draft, review, and negotiate NDAs, MSAs, SOWs, and other legal documents.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards, including data privacy, labor laws, and IT/ITES regulations.
- Support HR and operations in handling employee-related legal issues, including disciplinary actions, employment contracts, and terminations.
- Assist in managing disputes, grievances, or legal notices related to business operations.
- Coordinate with external legal counsel when necessary.
- Stay updated on changes in relevant laws and regulations and advise management on implications.
- Help design and implement internal policies and procedures to reduce legal risks.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB); Master’s Degree (LLM) is a plus.
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a legal advisor, preferably in a BPO or similar service-based industry.
- Solid understanding of corporate, labor, and contract law.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and drafting skills.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines under pressure.
- Familiarity with IT and data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, DPDP Bill) preferred.
- Experience working with international clients or contracts preferred.
- Knowledge of compliance frameworks used in BPO environments (ISO, SOC 2, etc.) preferred.
