Details of the Job/Internship

Cybage Software is hiring a Senior Legal Associate with experience of 7+ years to join their office in Pune. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate high-stakes commercial agreements, including vendor deals and licensing.
• Oversee litigation strategies and represent the company before various courts and labor offices.
• Manage legal documentation and regulatory compliance for property acquisitions and leases.
• Advise on IP strategy, including trademark filings, enforcement, and licensing.
• Monitor global regulatory changes and advise senior leadership on business implications.
• Prepare comprehensive legal risk assessments and compliance reports for the General Counsel.
• Lead cross-functional projects and provide legal guidance to various business departments.
• Mentor and manage junior legal team members to foster a collaborative work environment.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB); an LLM or CS qualification is preferred but not mandatory.
• Minimum 7 years of experience (with at least 5 years PQE and 3 years in-house).
• Deep expertise in Indian legal frameworks, corporate law, and real estate regulations.
• Strong background in managing Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) and litigation.
• Exceptional drafting, negotiation, and analytical capabilities.
• Proven leadership qualities and experience in people management.
• Proficiency in preparing and presenting reports to senior executive leadership.
