Adhyanta Engineering Pvt. Ltd. is hiring a Legal Advisor with experience of 10+ years to join their office in Visakhapatnam.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate tender documents, contracts, MoUs, and subcontracts.
• Assist in negotiating contract terms, advocating for the company's interests.
• Provide legal guidance during tender submissions ensuring compliance with DPP/DAP and Indian contract law.
• Resolve disputes related to contract breaches through negotiation, mediation, or litigation.
• Support bid and proposal teams with risk analysis, legal vetting, and contractual strategy.
• Advise internal teams on legal risks, obligations, and mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with laws, export control norms, and procurement regulations.
• Liaise with clients, vendors, and government agencies on legal issues.
• Collaborate with legal, procurement, program, and engineering teams on technical agreements.
• Assist in dispute resolution, claims, or contract interpretation.
• Stay updated on changes in defence contract law and policy.
• Provide guidance on contract law and risk mitigation.
• Ensure protection of company interests throughout the contract lifecycle.
• Streamline contract processes.
• Handle legal aspects of construction projects.
• Draft and review business, real estate, and employment contracts.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB); Master’s degree (LLM) or additional qualifications in business/contracts is a plus.
• 10+ years of experience in legal or contract management, preferably in the defence or government procurement sectors.
• Familiarity with Indian public procurement systems, DAP/DPP, and GeM portal.
• Strong understanding of contract law, risk management, and tendering frameworks in India.
• Excellent communication, legal drafting, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage high-pressure deadlines in a regulatory environment.
