Details of the Job/Internship

AsmitA India Realty is hiring a Legal Advisor with 7+ years of experience as a real estate or civil lawyer to join their office in Mira Road, Mumbai. The role involves providing legal assistance and advice to clients and internal departments, drafting legal documents, managing contracts, ensuring compliance with applicable legal standards, structuring solutions for legal issues, and supporting court-related matters. The working hours are 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, six days a week.

Role and Responsibilities

• Prepare reports for senior management on legal activities and issues.
• File revised agreements for sale.
• Structure, draft, and review reports and legal documents, including deeds.
• Educate employees on legal matters and compliance issues.
• Evaluate new business partnerships with vendors and subcontractors.
• Maintain accurate legal records and documentation.
• Contribute to the development and revision of internal policies to ensure legal compliance.
• Coordinate with advocates in court matters and proceedings.
• Identify legal risks and propose appropriate mitigation measures.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with Indian laws and regulations.
• Handle RERA matters and compliances from project registration to quarterly updates.
• Manage matters relating to redevelopment of society, MBMC compliance, and society formation.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.).
• Minimum 7+ years of work experience as a real estate or civil lawyer.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

Salary/Stipend
