Details of the Job/Internship

Billion Broadcaster is hiring a Legal Advisor / In-House Legal Counsel with 3–5 years of experience to support its media and digital business operations in New Delhi.
The role involves providing corporate legal advisory, managing contracts, ensuring regulatory compliance, handling intellectual property and advertising law matters, and supporting dispute resolution while working closely with internal stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

Role and Responsibilities

Corporate & Commercial Legal

• Draft, review, vet, and negotiate commercial agreements including client contracts, vendor agreements, NDAs, MOUs, SLAs, licensing, and service agreements.
• Provide legal opinions and advisory to business teams while balancing legal risk and commercial objectives.
• Support management with strategic legal inputs for business decisions.

Compliance & Regulatory

• Ensure compliance with applicable corporate, media, advertising, and digital regulations.
• Implement and manage POSH compliance, policies, and training programmes.
• Liaise with government authorities and regulatory bodies as required.
• Maintain statutory records and internal legal documentation.

Intellectual Property & Media Laws

• Advise on intellectual property matters including copyright, trademark, content rights, creatives, artworks, and digital videos.
• Ensure compliance with advertising laws, media regulations, and content usage rights.

Dispute Resolution & Recovery

• Handle disputes, legal notices, and recovery matters through internal legal processes.
• Coordinate with Finance and Business teams for resolution of overdue payments and outstanding dues.
• Manage litigation matters by coordinating with external legal counsels when required.

HR & Internal Support

• Assist HR in drafting and implementing workplace policies and employment-related documentation.
• Provide legal support on employment laws and internal disciplinary matters.

Eligibility

• Education: LLB / BA LLB (LLM preferred).
• Experience: 3–5 years of experience as a Legal Advisor, In-House Counsel, or Corporate Legal Executive.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced business environment.
• Strong expertise in contract drafting and negotiation, corporate and commercial law, legal compliance and risk management, intellectual property and advertising laws, POSH compliance, and dispute resolution and recovery matters.
• Excellent communication, drafting, and stakeholder management skills.

Salary/Stipend
