Details of the Job/Internship
BM Travels is hiring a Legal Advisor on a retainer basis to join their office in Chennai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, vet, and review legal documents including Agreements, NDAs, MoUs, Contracts, and SLAs.
- Draft legal notices, replies to notices, and manage internal and external legal correspondence.
- Coordinate with external legal counsels for case filing, legal opinions, and case follow-ups.
- Handle accident-related cases including FIRs, police coordination, and vehicle release documentation.
- File CSR/FIR and liaise with police and traffic authorities.
- Attend court hearings and ensure timely follow-up on legal proceedings.
- Maintain comprehensive records of legal cases and accurate documentation.
- Ensure operational compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Maintain an up-to-date legal database and generate regular MIS reports.
- Advise management on regulatory issues and risk mitigation.
- Conduct periodic internal audits of legal documentation and contracts.
- Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and legal practices.
