Details of the Job/Internship
GlobaX Sports Entertainment is hiring a Legal Advisor with 7 years of experience to join their office in New Delhi.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide legal counsel and support across all departments, including events, talent partnerships, sponsorships, contracts, HR, and operations.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, MOUs, partnership agreements, NDAs, and vendor agreements to ensure alignment with GlobaX Sports' business objectives.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with international, federal, and local laws across various jurisdictions where GlobaX operates.
- Advise the executive team on legal risks, regulatory matters, and dispute resolution.
- Support the development of internal policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks.
- Assist in IP protection strategies, including trademarks, copyrights, and licensing matters.
- Work closely with external legal firms and advisors as necessary.
- Stay updated on sports, entertainment, and digital media laws in various regions.
- Represent the company in negotiations and legal discussions with third parties when required.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) required; Master’s degree (LLM) preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of proven experience as a legal advisor, legal associate, or in-house counsel, ideally within the sports, entertainment, or media industries.
- Strong understanding of international commercial law, sports law, intellectual property rights, and corporate governance.
- Excellent negotiation, drafting, and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage legal operations across diverse geographies.
- High level of discretion, integrity, and professionalism.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
