Details of the Job/Internship
Incedo Inc. is hiring for the position of legal advisor with 4-8 years of experience to join their office in Gurugram.
Role and Responsibilities
- Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate various agreements, including NDAs, MSAs, SOWs, vendor contracts, and client agreements. Ensure all contracts comply with legal, regulatory, and company policies.
- Compliance and Regulatory Support: Monitor compliance with applicable laws, industry regulations, and internal policies. Assist in implementing legal frameworks for data privacy (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and IT-related regulations.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential legal risks by providing strategic advice to stakeholders. Support in the resolution of disputes, including pre-litigation matters.
- Legal Advisory: Provide legal guidance on corporate, commercial, and employment matters. Assist with mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, or restructuring activities.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of legal documents and proceedings. Draft legal memos, opinions, and summaries for senior management.
- Liaison with External Counsel: Coordinate with external legal advisors, when necessary, on specialized matters.
- General Support: Assist in legal due diligence processes, audits, and statutory filings. Address intellectual property-related matters, including patents, trademarks, and copyrights.
Eligibility
- Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in law (LLB) is mandatory; a Master’s in Law (LLM) is a plus.
- Experience: 4–8 years of experience in legal roles, preferably in IT services or corporate legal teams.
