Details of the Job/Internship
Lykis Limited is hiring a Legal Advisor to join their office in Andheri (W), Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice on export, international trade, customs laws, and related regulations.
- Interpret and apply relevant laws and government guidelines affecting operations.
- Draft, review, and negotiate agreements with suppliers and buyers.
- Prepare legal documents, contracts, and correspondence ensuring compliance.
- Maintain relationships with external counsels, vendors, and partners.
- Manage workload efficiently to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks.
- Stay updated on legal developments, including property laws and industry trends.
- Communicate effectively with department heads and ensure adherence to SOPs.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB).
- Proven experience as a Legal Advisor or Corporate Lawyer, preferably in the export industry.
- Knowledge of export terms, international trade, and customs laws preferred.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Strong time management and organisational abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage follow-ups and maintain professional relationships.
