Matar Holding company is hiring a Legal Advisor to join their office in Dammam.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide expert legal advice to senior management and other departments on various legal matters. Interpret and explain complex legal issues to non-legal personnel.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
- Ensure all contracts comply with legal requirements and company policies.
- Advise on corporate governance issues and ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in preparing board meetings, NRC and Audit Committee meetings. Drafting of minutes thereof.
- Manage and oversee litigation and dispute resolution processes.
- Liaise with external counsel and represent the company in legal proceedings when necessary.
- Identify and assess legal risks associated with business operations. Develop strategies to mitigate identified risks.
- Manage the company’s intellectual property portfolio, including trademarks, patents, and copyrights. Handle IP infringement issues and ensure the protection of the company’s IP assets.
- Provide legal guidance on employment matters, including contracts, disputes, and compliance with labor laws.
- Keep proper filing and tracking of all company’s legal documents. Ensure all licenses, certificates, etc are always valid.
