Details of the Job/Internship
MISHO is hiring a Legal Advisor to join their office in Sewri, Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide legal guidance on business operations and strategic decisions.
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, including vendor, distribution, franchise, and partnership contracts.
- Advise on legal risks and mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with ecommerce regulations, consumer protection laws, and digital marketing guidelines.
- Manage privacy, data protection, and customer policies.
- Oversee trademark registrations, renewals, and brand protection strategies.
- Handle intellectual property matters, including design protection and infringement issues.
- Draft and vet agreements such as employment contracts, influencer agreements, lease agreements, and vendor MOUs.
- Maintain legal documentation and manage contract lifecycle processes.
- Coordinate with external counsel for litigation, arbitration, and dispute resolution.
- Handle consumer disputes, vendor conflicts, and regulatory notices.
- Ensure compliance with labour laws, corporate governance, and industry regulations.
- Advise on jewellery-specific regulatory frameworks and monitor legal developments.
