Details of the Job/Internship

OceanAir is hiring a Legal Advisor with 3–6 years of experience to join their office in Dubai.

Role and Responsibilities

• Providing legal opinions and guidance on corporate, commercial, and operational matters.
• Ensuring compliance with UAE laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Monitoring legal risks and advising management on mitigation strategies.
• Staying updated on changes in laws and regulations affecting the business.
• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts with vendors, partners, clients, and employees.
• Maintaining a centralized contract management system and handling MOUs, NDAs, SLAs, and partnership agreements.
• Ensuring proper corporate structure, documentation, and support for board resolutions.
• Liaising with government authorities and handling licensing, renewals, and regulatory filings.
• Managing legal disputes, claims, and potential litigation and coordinating with external counsel.
• Handling employee disputes, advising on labour law matters, and supporting HR policy compliance.
• Identifying legal risks, developing preventive strategies, and conducting legal audits and compliance checks.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB).
• Master’s Degree (LLM) is a plus.
• Licensed or eligible to practice law with UAE experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of UAE laws and regulations.
• Excellent contract drafting and negotiation skills.
• High attention to detail and analytical thinking.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle sensitive matters.

Salary/Stipend
