Details of the Job/Internship

Sugee Group is hiring a Legal Advisor with a minimum of 10 years of extensive experience in handling legal matters to join its Mumbai office.

Role and Responsibilities

• Provide expert advice to stakeholders on legal, regulatory, and compliance matters.
• Advise on civil and criminal matters, liaise with external counsel, and assist in proceedings.
• Conduct legal research and prepare submissions, reviews, and recommendations.
• Draft and review contracts, agreements, and legal letters.
• Monitor compliance with legal obligations under contracts and agreements.
• Initiate and pursue legal proceedings, including writs, defences, and pleadings.
• Maintain a database of all court matters involving the organization.
• Assist in policy formulation, implementation, and amendments.
• Conduct legal due diligence for property and project acquisitions.
• Issue title certificates and related documentation for acquisitions.
• Liaise with property owners, developers, societies, and other stakeholders.
• Support CRM in handling customer complaints and queries.
• Collaborate with accounts for processing legal fee bills.
• Keep abreast of legal advancements and emerging trends.

Eligibility

• LLB graduate.
• Minimum 10 years of experience as a practicing attorney or in a corporate environment.
• Strong technical understanding of business and operations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality.
• Team-oriented with stakeholder management skills.
• Adaptability to technology.

Salary/Stipend
