Details of the Job/Internship

WSP is hiring for the position of Legal Advisor with experience of 5+ years to join their Bengaluru office. 

Role and Responsibilities

• The candidate will provide operational and legal support to the legal division of a global engineering professional services company, with a primary focus on reviewing and negotiating construction industry contracts.
• Responsible for reviewing a full range of contracts and associated documents.
• Providing clear and concise feedback on contract risks and conduct follow up calls with colleagues to discuss, where required in a timely manner.
• They are proactively managing and leading negotiations.
• Establishing and maintaining good professional relationships with the business, as well as with external parties such as clients and their legal counsel.
• Maintain appropriate awareness of the legislative and regulatory environment relating to key aspects of WSP’s current operations.

Eligibility

• The candidate must be organised, display excellent written/communication skills and have the ability to apply independent judgment.
• Should have a law degree and 5+ years of relevant experience in the construction industry, preferably working with multinational construction industry companies.
