Details of the Job/Internship

HNA Law Chambers is hiring a Legal Advocate with a minimum of 1 year of experience to join their office in Chennai.

Role and Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice and representation on indirect taxation cases.
• Draft legal documents and conduct legal research.
• Represent clients in court.
• Maintain updated knowledge on laws and regulations.
• Liaise with clients and work closely with other team members to develop and implement legal strategies.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in indirect taxation law.
• Advanced qualifications or specializations in taxation law will be beneficial.
• Strong knowledge and expertise in GST, Customs, Foreign Trade Policy, Central Excise, Service Tax, and Value Added Tax.
• Excellent legal research and drafting skills.
• Effective communication and client relationship management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with team members.

Salary/Stipend
