Details of the Job/Internship
Mercor is hiring a Legal Professional on a contractual basis for a duration of 2 months. The position is remote with a weekly commitment of 20+ hours. The selected candidate will be responsible for translating, adapting, and synthesizing complex nuances in Italian legal practices while ensuring linguistic precision and legal accuracy.
Role and Responsibilities
- Translate, adapt, and synthesize complex nuances in legal practices in Italy, reflecting region-specific laws, processes, and terminology.
- Write fluently in both Italian and English, ensuring precise legal terminology and nuanced expression across languages.
- Provide cultural insights specific to the Italian legal system.
- Work closely with reviewers and peers to refine content, validate accuracy, and align outputs with legal standard practices in Italy.
Eligibility
- Native-level fluency in Italian with strong written and spoken English.
- Advanced degree in Law.
- 2–6+ years of practicing law in Italy.
- Excellent writing, analytical, and communication skills.
- Preferred: Experience with assessment and rubric development.
- Preferred: Familiarity with generative AI models or machine learning concepts.
