Details of the Job/Internship
Citizens for Justice and Peace (CJP) is hiring Lawyers, Law Graduates, and Legal Researchers for a full-time role with its human rights and social justice programmes.
Role and Responsibilities
- Write and research content, articles, and analyses.
- Develop feature articles on human rights and social justice, including investigations and interviews.
- Track legal cases, report on them, and analyse judgments.
- Monitor fake news and hate content and contribute to Hate Tracker analysis and series.
- Research and compile content for ‘In Facts’ with brief, analytical segments under sub-heads.
- Research and compile fact-sheets on human rights issues, including facts, figures, legal developments, and policy decisions.
- Write creative articles around key programmes such as Peace Building and HateWatch/HateHatao, Citizenship, Legal Interventions, and Forest Rights.
Eligibility
- A journalism degree or diploma is preferred.
- A law background is required.
- Proficiency in English and Hindi is required, and Marathi is preferred.
- Only candidates genuinely interested in human rights and social justice should apply.
