Details of the Job/Internship
Exlitem Private Limited is hiring experienced or fresh law graduates for the full-time role of Legal Analyst (Trainee) on a remote basis.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research on expert witnesses involved in litigation in the United States.
- Craft Boolean search strings for legal databases like LexisNexis.
- Analyze information and summarize key legal concepts from court-filed documents.
- Identify and summarize challenges to expert witness testimony.
- Decipher legal issues and rulings within legal documents.
- Identify and tag parties and attorneys involved.
- Tag multiple documents from the same case across different databases.
- Perform other related tasks and assignments as needed.
- Note: Training will be provided for all job responsibilities.
Eligibility
- Graduate degree in law from a recognized college in India.
- Proficient in MS Office and general online research.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Detail-oriented with excellent multitasking abilities.
- Must have a desktop or laptop computer.
- Must have a broadband internet connection with a minimum speed of 50 MBPS (internet allowance will be provided).
- Immediate joiners are preferred.
