Details of the Job/Internship
ATS Corporation is hiring a Legal Analyst - Commercial Contracts with experience of 8–12 years to join their Global Legal team in Bengaluru. This senior individual contributor role involves significant ownership of contract review and negotiation across global commercial agreements while working closely with legal and business stakeholders across North America, Europe, and Asia within established risk frameworks.
Role and Responsibilities
- Review, draft, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements including NDAs, MSAs, supply and services agreements, and amendments.
- Lead first-line contract negotiations within defined risk frameworks and escalate complex matters when required.
- Manage high-volume contract workflows across multiple jurisdictions with accuracy and consistency.
- Develop and maintain contract templates, clause libraries, and negotiation playbooks to drive standardisation.
- Act as the primary point of contact for business teams on contractual matters.
- Provide clear and practical guidance to stakeholders on contractual risks and commercial decision-making.
- Build strong working relationships with global legal and business stakeholders.
- Support continuous improvement of legal processes, including the adoption of AI-enabled tools.
- Contribute to legal operations initiatives such as documentation, training, and knowledge management.
- Ensure timely turnaround and high-quality delivery in a fast-paced, multinational environment.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B. or equivalent).
- 8–12 years of experience in commercial contracts within a multinational corporate environment.
- Proven ability to independently review, draft, and negotiate commercial agreements.
- Strong understanding of common law contract structures and risk principles.
- Excellent drafting, analytical, and negotiation skills with strong attention to detail.
- Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
- Experience working in matrixed, multinational organisations with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Ability to manage high-volume, fast-paced workloads with ownership and accountability.
- Experience supporting North American business units or working across time zones.
- Background in industrial, manufacturing, engineering, or related sectors.
- Exposure to AI-enabled legal tools or contract lifecycle management platforms.
