Details of the Job/Internship
Sharp & Tannan is hiring a Legal Analyst to manage end-to-end statutory and regulatory compliance across secretarial, labour, EHS, and industry-specific laws.
Role and Responsibilities
- Stay updated on changes in secretarial, labour, and environmental laws at local, national, and international levels.
- Assess the impact of legislative changes and provide timely compliance updates.
- Evaluate organisational activities to ensure compliance with environmental laws and regulations.
- Examine compliance documents, including those related to related party transactions and CSR.
- Recommend management on the company’s compliance status through detailed management reports.
- Ensure adherence to prevailing regulations by analysing records, reports, and documentation.
- Identify opportunities to strengthen legal documentation and compliance controls.
- Draft and circulate recent legal updates on a regular basis.
Eligibility
- Company Secretary, LLB, LLM, or equivalent qualifications.
- Legal analyst with good communication skills.
- Well-versed in legal terminology and operations.
- Basic knowledge of secretarial, labour, environmental, and other industry-related laws.
