Details of the Job/Internship
Hillroute Capital is Legal Analyst – Intern to join their office in Delhi.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research on digital asset regulations, compliance, and broader financial laws.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts (investment, vendor, service agreements, etc.).
- Support transactions including fund formation, corporate actions, and business expansion.
- Assist in due diligence and preparation of transaction-related documentation.
- Support legal counsel on governance and regulatory matters.
- Manage compliance requirements across jurisdictions for funds and investment products.
- Facilitate investor onboarding through document management, compliance checks, and administrator coordination.
- Maintain accurate records of contracts, filings, and board materials.
- Build internal SOPs and trackers for legal, finance, and investment teams.
- Coordinate with external service providers on compliance, onboarding, and reporting.
- Contribute to operational, risk, and strategic initiatives in collaboration with the Founder’s Office.
Eligibility
- Final-year student in a 5-year integrated law program or 3-year LL.B. program.
- Strong interest in finance laws, digital asset regulations, and compliance.
- Excellent legal research, drafting, and communication skills.
- Self-driven, solution-oriented, and highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Competence in reviewing, drafting, and assisting in contract negotiations.
