Swiggy is hiring for the position of Legal Analyst (Litigation) with 0-2 years of experience to join their office remotely.
Role and Responsibilities
- Manage and respond to time-sensitive requests from law enforcement authorities under Section 94 BNSS / Section 91 CrPC, ensuring accurate and timely coordination with internal teams.
- Collect, validate, and submit required data to law enforcement agencies within strict deadlines (within 12 hours of receipt).
- Assist the litigation team by preparing case briefs, drafting responses to legal notices, vetting legal documents, and conducting legal research.
- Maintain and regularly update trackers for incoming notices and outgoing responses to ensure complete and compliant record-keeping.
- Build and sustain effective communication with police officials and government authorities, ensuring timely updates and accurate information sharing.
- Oversee the legal invoicing process — coordinate with the finance team to ensure timely approvals and payments.
- Maintain detailed records of legal expenses, retainers, and related documents for audits and internal reporting.
- Support in attending court hearings, managing case documents, and ensuring proper documentation and courier dispatch of litigation material.
Eligibility
- Prior experience drafting responses to Section 94 BNSS / Section 91 CrPC notices is essential.
- 0–2 years of experience in a legal executive or paralegal role, preferably within a high-paced or tech-driven organization.
- Experience interfacing with police authorities, government agencies, and quasi-judicial bodies is preferred.
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills with a keen eye for compliance and deadlines.
- Ability to work across functions and effectively manage stakeholders in a dynamic, cross-functional environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and local languages.
