Details of the Job/Internship
cloudEQ is hiring for the position of Legal Analyst with experience of 3-5 years to join their Chandigarh office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide legal counsel on corporate governance, compliance, and regulatory matters.
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, including vendor agreements, service contracts, and partnership agreements.
- Support the preparation and review of corporate policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to address emerging legal issues and regulatory changes.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure compliance with corporate policies and legal requirements.
- Assist with internal audits and regulatory reporting as needed.
- Assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, including Master Service Agreements (MSAs) and Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs).
- Handle disclosures of interests and other corporate governance documentation.
- Represent the company in dealings with external legal entities, including regulatory bodies and counterparties.
- Assist in managing corporate records and documentation, including corporate filings and board resolutions.
- Assist with interactions with clients, vendors, and external legal entities, including responding to inquiries and providing necessary documentation.
- Organize and maintain legal files, ensuring proper storage and retrieval of documents.
- Prepare meeting materials and ensure all required documentation is available.
- Coordinate with internal departments to gather necessary information and ensure legal compliance.
- Support compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including those related to corporate governance and contractual obligations.
- Monitor contract performance and compliance, tracking renewal dates and amendments.
- Assist with preparing and managing board meeting agendas, minutes, and resolutions.
Eligibility
- Degree from an accredited law school.
- 3 to 5 years of experience as a lawyer, or in a similar legal role.
