Deutsche Bank is looking to hire qualified professionals who have completed their academic background in LL.B/LL.M to join the Global NRF Deal Management within Trade Structured Finance organization in Corporate Banking. The Global support is from Amsterdam, with focus primarily involved in De-risking, Covenant monitoring, Due Diligence & Non-Client adoption, Legal Documentation Review, Liquidation Valuation & other deal related activities.
They are looking to recruit a person to play an important role with direct face off against the Business community and will also involve regular interaction with multiple stakeholders in onshore and offshore locations.

The Portfolio Manager acts as a fiduciary to manage assets for a specific asset type/ asset class within established investment policy guidelines. Working with the Lead Portfolio Manager they invest client/ fund assets, oversee the investment strategy and direct all trades of the relevant portfolio, within a product / asset class and ensure that the delivery of Portfolio commitments adheres to the appropriate governance guidelines, including any regulatory/legal restrictions that may impact the portfolio. They make decisions about investment mix and policy, matching investments to objectives, asset allocation for individuals and institutions and balancing risk against performance, based on a deep understanding of market developments, financial and economic trends. They participate in company due-diligence, research meetings and client meetings as required, in support of asset management responsibilities.
The Portfolio Analyst supports the Portfolio Manager in monitoring portfolio performance, conducting statistical and performance analyses and producing investor reports. Applying excellent financial, mathematical and statistical skills they work with complex databases and quantitative tools to assess, reconcile and attribute portfolio performance. The Portfolio Analyst ensures Portfolio performance is transparent to key stakeholders and monitors adherence to the appropriate governance guidelines, including any regulatory/legal restrictions that may impact the portfolio. Portfolio Analysts may also participate in company due-diligence, research meetings and client meetings, communicating portfolio information to clients and client requirements to Portfolio Managers.
Role and Responsibilities
- NRF Deal Management is primarily responsible for Portfolio Monitoring of the NRF Business by following a risk-based approach and is involved in various functions from Pre-Sales to Maturity.
- Ensure effective non-financial risk management & controls through following relevant policies.
- Maintaining and developing robust control process and operating in a regulatory compliant and receive operational signoff.
- Ensure proper covenant monitoring & monitor portfolio performance, simultaneously flag financial and non-financial risk pro-actively to stakeholders.
- Legal documentation review, support and consultancy provided to Agency, Project Finance & Syndicated Loan teams including but not limited to drafting of notices, fee/side letters under syndicated and project finance deals.
- Reviewing credit/security/collateral/commercial contracts related to the facility documentation under English law, New York Law, laws of other jurisdictions (when applicable, in particular – security/collateral agreements and guarantees)
- Review of waivers and amendments, extension, increase, accession agreements, pledge agreements, client's prepayment notices, release documentation and security release requests relating to project finance & syndicated deals.
- Support NRF Sales and global ACO on local New non-Client On-Boarding and ensure KYC Due Diligence are met for all counterparties.
Eligibility
Technical Skills:
- Good Knowledge of Financial Products and Legal Background,
- Trade Finance, Commodity Markets is a plus.
- Financial Analytical/modelling skills; proficiency in MS Excel & PowerPoint, VBA is a plus
- Understand commercial dynamics & governance
