Details of the Job/Internship
Driffle is hiring a Legal Analyst to join their office in Gurugram. The role involves supporting the company’s global business across regulatory, compliance, and commercial legal matters while working closely with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams. The position focuses on ensuring compliance and safeguarding the company’s legal and commercial interests across multiple global markets, with a strong focus on Europe. This role is ideal for individuals seeking hands-on exposure to international laws, EU regulations, and in-house legal operations within a fast-paced startup environment.
Role and Responsibilities
- Responding to legal notices, queries, and communications from global regulatory bodies and agencies.
- Handling DMCA takedowns, IP, privacy, and publisher complaints.
- Drafting and reviewing responses to legal notices and third-party communications.
- Assisting in reviewing and managing commercial contracts and agreements.
- Supporting the review of investment and corporate documents (SHA, SSA, etc.).
- Conducting legal research and preparing summaries on EU laws, including gaming and marketplace regulations and GDPR.
- Coordinating with internal teams to gather accurate information for legal matters.
Eligibility
- Law graduate or final-year law student (LLB / BA LLB).
- Strong written English with clear and professional communication skills.
- Foundational understanding of contracts, intellectual property, and privacy laws.
- Exposure to EU laws and GDPR.
- Interest in gaming, technology, or startups.
- Prior internship experience at a law firm or as part of an in-house legal team.
- Ability to manage multiple matters independently in a dynamic environment.
