Details of the Job/Internship
EY is hiring an Analyst with at least 1 year of experience to join their office in Kolkata.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide expert advisory services on GST-related matters and indirect tax frameworks.
- Handle legal interpretation of tax statutes and regulatory updates.
- Draft high-quality legal documents, opinions, and submissions for litigation and advisory purposes.
- Manage advisory assignments and support the team in delivering client-focused solutions.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to navigate complex tax issues.
- Ensure effective communication of legal and tax advice to a diverse range of clients.
Eligibility
- Qualification: Graduate or LLB degree.
- Experience: At least 1 year of relevant experience in indirect tax.
- Strong skills in GST Advisory and legal drafting.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Passion for working on legal interpretation and complex advisory assignments.
