Details of the Job/Internship
Innovative Driven is hiring Legal Analysts to assist a leading AmLaw 100 law firm client on a fully remote basis. This engagement is expected to last for 3–6 months, with the possibility of extension, and involves supporting the conflicts team in identifying and researching potential lateral and client-related conflicts as the firm expands.
Role and Responsibilities
- Review and analyse conflict-of-interest reports.
- Identify actual and potential conflicts of interest.
- Prepare clear and concise summaries of conflict search results highlighting potential issues.
- Conduct research using internal and external databases to assess conflicts.
- Work with attorneys to document conflict clearances.
- Review information submitted for new client and client or matter acceptance.
- Research accuracy and quality of information and identify potential client relationships.
- Respond to queries from team members and stakeholders regarding conflicts checks, client or matter status, and system support.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant law firm experience as a legal assistant or in conflicts or new business intake.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong research skills.
- Prior experience using automated conflicts systems is preferred.
