Details of the Job/Internship

Lawvek is hiring legal professionals with 3–10+ years of experience to join its remote team in India on a full-time basis.

Role and Responsibilities

• Review and validate US commercial contracts alongside AI systems across industries such as SaaS, technology services, and startups.
• Act as the human judgment layer over AI-reviewed contracts to ensure legal accuracy, commercial practicality, and compliance with US law.
• Contribute to developing legal frameworks and judgment models embedded within the AI product.
• Help define and refine SLAs for turnaround time, quality standards, and depth of contract reviews.
• Collaborate closely with founders, engineers, and AI teams to shape workflows and decision-making logic.
• Review agreements including MSAs, NDAs, DPAs, SaaS agreements, services contracts, and transaction-related documents.
• Participate actively in improving and evolving the product, beyond routine legal execution.

Eligibility

• Lawyers, legal analysts, or consultants with hands-on exposure to US commercial contracts.
• Experience supporting or reviewing transactions involving US companies.
• Background in Big 4 firms, large consulting firms, in-house legal teams, general counsel teams, or cross-border transaction roles.
• Ability to work independently in fast-paced and ambiguous startup environments.
• Strong attention to detail and sound legal judgment.
• Genuine interest in AI, legal technology, and product development.
• US bar qualification is not required.

Salary/Stipend

Compensation details will be finalized during the interview process with the selected candidate.
