Details of the Job/Internship
Microland Limited is hiring a Legal Analyst with 2–4 years of experience to join their office in Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate cross-border commercial sales-side agreements including MSAs, SOWs, WOs, POs, RFPs, etc., for assigned jurisdictions.
- Draft, review, and negotiate vendor agreements globally, including MSAs, SOWs, WOs, POs, RFPs, NDAs, consulting, staffing, recruitment, independent contractor, license purchase terms, admin services agreements, and lease deeds for buy-side transactions.
- Draft, review, and negotiate agreements with global partners/resellers, including clickwrap agreements, reseller agreements, teaming agreements, service provider agreements, software licensing end-user agreements, and MSSP partnership agreements.
- Manage the contract lifecycle, including drafting, modifying, amending, renewing contracts, and creating compliance checklists for customer, vendor, and partner contracts.
- Act as the point of contact for customer, vendor, and partner contracts, and advise on contractual rights, obligations, legal risks, and business terms.
- Follow and adhere to Microland’s internal legal and other relevant processes.
- Support vendor, partner, and customer audits.
- Stay updated on legal and regulatory developments affecting contracts and agreements.
- Understand various IT services offered by the company and learn relevant technologies and operations to evaluate legal risks during the contract lifecycle.
- Ability to handle internal and external vendor or customer calls for negotiation is preferable.
Eligibility
- LL.B./LL.M (preferred) from a premier law school.
- Minimum of 2 to 4 years post-qualification experience handling customer contracts, preferably under IT services.
- Flexible, well-organized, and able to work in a fast-paced internet and technology-driven environment.
- Ability and desire to work independently with minimal oversight.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong negotiation skills to close contracts with global vendors.
- Effective communication skills to interact with internal departments and external stakeholders for contract discussions and closures.
- Willingness to work in flexible timings.
- A good team player, eager to learn and take initiative.
Salary/Stipend
