Details of the Job/Internship
Workday is hiring a Legal Analyst – AI Contracts to support CLM and Contract Intelligence implementation projects by reviewing documents, assessing data readiness, and building AI models for contract analysis.
Role and Responsibilities
- Perform document review and quality control.
- Assess and remediate metadata for accuracy and completeness.
- Identify prevailing terms and create contract hierarchies.
- Collaborate with customers to build contract playbooks and clause libraries.
- Define logic for AI-based data extraction and annotate templates.
- Build custom AI prompts for extracting specific data points.
- Source and review sample contracts to extract and label key data.
- Conduct data quality assurance and standardisation of contract terms.
- Manage data mapping, cleaning, and migration into CLM platforms.
- Handle document management and accurate data entry.
- Identify issues in contract data and perform remediation.
- Recognise patterns, categorise data, and summarise failures for model training.
- Label and annotate contract templates for Custom AI model configuration.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree required; J.D., LL.M., or legal studies background preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in AI or data-focused roles.
- At least 3 years of experience in CLM or Contract Intelligence.
- Minimum 5 years of experience working with external clients or stakeholders.
- Experience in workflow automation preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, adaptability, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
- Skills in pattern recognition, contract drafting, legal data extraction, and quality control.
