Details of the Job/Internship
Yield Engineering Systems is hiring a Legal Analyst with 5–6 years of experience to join their Bengaluru office. The Legal Analyst will report to the Head of Legal & Compliance and support commercial contracts and legal operations across the company.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, vet, and negotiate NDAs, CDAs, MOUs, vendor contracts, customer contracts, collaboration agreements, distribution agreements, MSAs, SOWs, indemnity documents, integrity pacts, RFPs, tenders, bonds, bank guarantees, and software agreements.
- Maintain docket, trademark and patent tracker, and MIS.
- Liaise with internal teams to align contract terms with business needs.
- Ensure compliance with Indian and international laws and regulations.
- Maintain contract management systems, track compliance, and manage renewals.
- Support audits, due diligence, and risk assessment processes.
- Provide legal advice on contracts and business decisions.
- Monitor legal changes and update internal processes.
- Assist with Companies Act compliance and external consultant coordination.
- Support Head of Legal & Compliance in daily matters and legal projects.
- Assist with regional legal process optimization.
- Maintain organized documentation systems.
- Monitor patent and trademark portfolios, including filings, renewals, oppositions, and enforcement.
Eligibility
- LL.B or equivalent law degree from a recognized university.
- CS qualification is a plus.
- 5–6 years of relevant experience in corporate legal roles, preferably in a tech company, startup, MNC, or legal firm with corporate clients.
- Strong understanding of global contract law, IP, data privacy (e.g., GDPR, DPDP), Indian Corporate Law, and commercial transactions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, contract management tools (e.g., Ironclad, DocuSign CLM), and legal research platforms.
