Details of the Job/Internship

 Zenwork, Inc is hiring a Legal Analyst to join their office in Hyderabad.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate, and interpret a variety of agreements, including Software as a Service Terms, software licensing, partnership agreements, integration agreement, vendor agreements and NDAs.
• Ensure the company complies with applicable laws, including data privacy (GDPR, CCPA), cybersecurity, intellectual property laws, and employment law.
• Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and advise on related matters such as data processing agreements and privacy policies.
• Identify legal risks associated with the company’s operations and propose solutions to mitigate those risks.
• Assist with research on tax compliance matters, as may be required
• Work closely with other departments, including finance, HR, product, and engineering, to ensure legal compliance.
• Stay up-to-date on relevant legal developments and provide timely, strategic advice on legal issues impacting the company.

Eligibility

• A law degree from a reputed law school, integrated or bachelor's with an LLB degree.
• In-depth understanding of corporate laws and regulations, particularly in the realm of digital tax compliance in the United States.
• Proven experience in negotiating software and Vendor agreements along with a technical understanding of software products and their functioning.
• Two to three years of prior work experience in legal research, technology laws, or a related role is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical skills to assess the risks associated with crucial terms in a contract.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with strong negotiation skills.
• A high degree of self-motivation, independence, organization, time management, and attention to detail combined with the ability to identify issues for escalation promptly.
