Details of the Job/Internship
FinStackk is hiring a Legal Analyst / Junior Associate with 0–1 year of experience to join its office in Hyderabad or work remotely, depending on the candidate’s profile.
Role and Responsibilities
- Advise on corporate governance and compliance obligations across U.S. states, especially Delaware, California, Texas, and New York.
- Review and audit corporate actions for U.S. entities to ensure compliance with state laws.
- Assist in structuring business entities in India and the U.S.
- Support ODI and FDI transactions, including documentation for equity and debt infusions.
- Research and maintain compliance with SEC regulations, state investment laws, labor laws, and U.S. business laws.
- Monitor and interpret RBI and FEMA regulations on cross-border investments.
- Draft, review, and negotiate U.S. law-governed agreements, including investment, co-founder, ESOPs, governance, employment, services, and IP agreements.
- Review contracts for compliance, enforceability, and negotiation support.
Eligibility
- JD or LL.B. degree.
- 0–1 years of post-qualification experience (internships and training experience acceptable).
- Strong research and drafting skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Familiarity with FEMA, RBI circulars, and investment law preferred.
- Exposure to U.S. corporate and contract law preferred.
- Strong interest in startups, international business law, and cross-border transactions.
