Details of the Job/Internship

Kefilo is hiring a Legal & Business Operations Officer for an equity-based, remote, part-time role to join their team in Bhubaneshwar.

Role and Responsibilities

• Legal Compliance & Documentation: Manage all corporate legal documentation, including NDAs, service contracts, and partnership agreements, while ensuring adherence to food business regulations and licensing requirements.
• Business Structuring: Design legal frameworks for business models involving smart kiosks, home-cook collaborations, and franchise partnerships.
• Investor & Stakeholder Documentation: Support the drafting of equity agreements and governance documents for advisors and incoming investors.
• Operational Systems: Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for internal workflows, vendor onboarding, and logistics.
• Risk Management: Identify potential operational and legal bottlenecks, creating mitigation strategies to protect the company during its growth phase.

Eligibility

• Educational Qualification: Background in Law, Business Administration, or Business Operations.
• Competencies: Strong understanding of contract law, compliance standards, and startup business structuring.
• Traits: Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in an early-stage, fast-paced startup environment.
• Interest: Demonstrated interest in building systems from scratch and contributing to the foundational growth of a company.
