Bhanzu is hiring a Legal & Company Secretary Associate to support corporate compliance, statutory filings, and legal documentation.
Role and Responsibilities
- Coordinate with the Company Secretary team for ROC filings, board/AGM notices, ESOP compliance, and statutory register maintenance.
- Track board meeting schedules, circulate agendas, and compile resolutions and minutes.
- Liaise with external legal counsel for drafting, reviewing, and executing agreements, notices, and other documents.
- Maintain contract repository and track renewals and compliance timelines.
- Support investor-related compliance — cap table updates, share allotments, share transfers, and reporting under SHA/SSA.
- Track and ensure timely regulatory filings under Companies Act, FEMA, Labour, and other applicable laws.
- Assist in responding to legal notices and coordinating due diligence activities.
- Maintain documentation, trackers, and MIS reports for management review.
- Conduct basic legal and regulatory research and support ad-hoc compliance tasks.
Eligibility
- LLB or CS (Executive/Professional level) preferred.
- 1–4 years of experience in legal, CS, or compliance roles (startup or corporate).
- Good understanding of Companies Act and contract management.
- Strong communication, coordination, and documentation skills.
